“Missing Link” Screening, w/presentation – June 7 @ OMSI + Toffee Club

Join us this coming Friday evening, June 7, for a special $5 encore screening of LAIKA’s Missing Link at OMSI, followed by a unique presentation at The Toffee Club’s back room by LAIKA Lead Compositor Michael Cordova.   He’ll share the LAIKA filmmaking process with us from a VFX Compositor’s viewpoint.  Presented by Portland SIGGRAPH, in cooperation with OMSI and the Toffee Club.

Coming for Design Week: The Portland Animated Shorts Showcase! @OMSI 4/10

NW Doc “The Cage Fighter” screening @ NW Film Ctr 5/10

For your consideration – a NW documentary from Seattle based filmmaker Jeff Unay that explores the dramatic “real life Rocky” struggle of Seattle MMA fighter Joe Carman.  A rare Portland screening brings this well reviewed and well traveled doco (which saw theatrical release after making the rounds at the Bend Film Fest among others) to the NW Film Center/Whitsell auditorium, May 10th at 7pm.  Unay will be in attendance!

After our success creating a foodscape of fruits and vegetables for NVIDIA, our team here at Hinge Digital was inspired by Jamba Juice to create a whole universe of fruit juice. 3D Artist Scott Robertson Presenting Modo+Mari – April 18th!

3DPDX, VFX/PDX and PAMUG present an evening with concept artist Scott Robertson.  Scott is renowned for his product design work and contribution to films such as Minority Report.  He’ll be coming up to show us his recent work and demo the power of The Foundry’s Modo and Mari 3D software.

Food + drink will be provided and a raffle with some great prizes is also on tap.  Come hungry!
