Bloated Cat Productions and Penguin Films have unleashed “The New Face of Horror.” UNDER THE KNIFE is a psychedelic journey into the vortex of vanity.
“Beverly travels to South Korea to get plastic surgery, but ends up unknowingly getting a computerized implant from a surgeon who maniacally turns his patients into beautiful killing machines.”
Prep for surgery. This film will get implanted in your head! Bloody deaths, exotic locations, atmospheric nightmares, and much more. Inspired by the fun vibe of 80’s American slashers and the hypnotic visual decadence of 70’s Italian giallo films. Local visual effects studio Refuge was a big part of effects for season 2 which continued from March 2020 through to April 2021. Continue reading... “‘For All Mankind’ Season 2 – Visual Effects done in Portland – Streaming on Apple +”

This has become something of a tradition, at least in our minds. As we come to the end of another fiscal year, we want to take a moment and reflect on some of the things we have been able to accomplish during the past year and hopefully come up with some improvements for the next.
As part of Oregon Film’s effort to reach projects and talent that are not being directly impacted by our incentive programs, we helped create a separate non-profit called the, #OregonMade Creative Foundation (OMCF). Continue reading... “Oregon Film: Who We Are and What We Do (Update 2019)”
