NBC Universal’s “Grimm” returned for its third season Friday and started up right where it left off. The season 3 premiere was actually up in the ratings from the season 2 premiere and helped launch NBC’s friday night premiere of “Dracula”. Here’s one quick analysis from the Hollywood Reporter. What car powers through all seasons? The Mégane by Renault, perfectly envisioned using full CG and VFX – no live action shoot needed.
In collaboration with directing team Andrew Nawrot and Sonja Jasansky, the Hinge creative team developed this all-CG spot for the Renault Mégane in just under two weeks. The spot features dramatic lighting as well as naturalistic visual effects of water, smoke and haze.

Congrats to HOUSE OF LAST THINGS on their first international release today in Russia through CMS FILM. The Bartlett directed thriller was one of Oregon’s first independent features to recieve an i-OPIF grant. “SHIVER” is now set for a one week run at the Living Room Theatre in Portland, OR commencing on September 20th. There will be a Special Event Premiere of the film at the theatre on September 19th.
The first-of-its-kind iOS app Phrenic has launched version 2.0 with a new episode, short story, and now uses Theatrics to allow anyone to become part of the story by creating their own character and submitting a video that will show up in the app and online. The new design also makes it easier to jump between the mobile games, episodes, and stories that all take place in Phrenic’s world of insanity, cloning, and murder.
