NBC Universal’s, Season 3 of “Grimm” Premieres Strong – More Great Episodes to Come

Hinge Digital’s All-CG Spot for Renault

What car powers through all seasons?  The Mégane by Renault, perfectly envisioned using full CG and VFX – no live action shoot needed.

In collaboration with directing team Andrew Nawrot and Sonja Jasansky, the Hinge creative team developed this all-CG spot for the Renault Mégane in just under two weeks. The spot features dramatic lighting as well as naturalistic visual effects of water, smoke and haze.

“House of Last Things” is Big in Russia… Gains 1st Distribution Deal

 

Congrats to HOUSE OF LAST THINGS on their first international release today in Russia through CMS FILM. The Bartlett directed thriller was one of Oregon’s first independent features to recieve an i-OPIF grant. The film premiered in France in January and has since been selected for festivals in Brazil, Germany, and Mexico. The Russian package includes theatrical, dvd, and online

Award-winning motion graphics and design house, Cardboard Castle, proudly presents an evening of wonder featuring an immersive video installation inspired by the ethereal beauty of the deep sea.

Infusing digital animation with the ghostly movements of underwater creatures, viewers will float through a vivid ocean dreamscape buoyed on an ambient musical score.

Animators from Cardboard Castle will be on hand to discuss the exhibit and answer any questions from guests. This will be a casual and informative event designed to provide the local community with a window into the creative process at Cardboard Castle. “C.O.G.” Made Its Oregon Premiere in Salem

“C.O.G.”, a film adaptation of a David Sedaris work, made it’s Oregon debut last night at the Salem Cinema, Salem’s only independently owned and operated movie theater specializing in art, foreign and independent film.   There was a big turnout and a full house for the reception, featuring cider from Wandering Aengus Ciderworks and apples from Oregon Heritage Farm – a featured location for the film, wine from Namaste Vineyards and fresh apple cider from E.Z. “SHIVER” NOW SET FOR PORTLAND PREMIERE FOR SEPTEMBER 20th

“SHIVER” is now set for a one week run at the Living Room Theatre in Portland, OR commencing on  September 20th. There will be a Special Event Premiere of the film at the theatre on September 19th.

iOS Series ‘Phrenic’ Launches Version 2.0

The first-of-its-kind iOS app Phrenic has launched version 2.0 with a new episode, short story, and now uses Theatrics to allow anyone to become part of the story by creating their own character and submitting a video that will show up in the app and online. The new design also makes it easier to jump between the mobile games, episodes, and stories that all take place in Phrenic’s world of insanity, cloning, and murder.
