“SHIVER” is now set for a one week run at the Living Room Theatre in Portland, OR commencing on  September 20th. There will be a Special Event Premiere of the film at the theatre on September 19th.

Film/TV Production Industry Celebrates Legislative Success Friday

Oregon’s film and television production Industry prepares for expansion thanks to 67% increase in funds designed to recruit projects to Oregon – but first, a party with performance from Oregon blues legend Curtis Salgado.

“We throw our fundraiser for OMPA and the Media Arts Education scholarships every year at this time. “Back O’Er Oregon” – A Musician’s Journey through Oregon’s State Parks

 Musician Slater Smith Embarks on a Quest to Visit all of Oregon’s State Parks While Shooting His Music Video

Slater Smith, frontman for the band The Weather Machine, began his quest to visit every state park in Oregon over the summer while shooting his music video for the band’s song “Back O’Er Oregon”.  The video will be a cinematic homage to Oregon’s beautiful and diverse state parks.  While planning this project Slater connected with Oregon’s Governor’s Office of Film and Television (Oregon Film) and the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, and explored how to expand the project beyond just the music video. King Entertainer of the Year Award Curtis Salgado takes center stage at the OMPA Classic, a fundraiser for the Media Arts Education scholarships, presented by Pacific Office Automation. The OMPA Classic takes place on July 12, 2013 at The Resort at The Mountain (Lakeside Lawn) in Welches, Oregon and includes a golf tournament, croquet tournament and awards party with an auction and raffle. Pander Brothers finance new short film through Kickstarter crowdfunding

From award winning filmmakers, the Pander Brothers, comes a brand new short film, “SUBTEXT”, which explores modern relationships in the era of text messaging.

Funding for the project was raised through Kickstarter. The Pander Bros. are excited to work in this new fund raising format, giving them a chance to work with long time community friends and supporters.
