We will be in a new suite at the Eastside Exchange building with our friends at the Technology Association of Oregon. The building has been beautifully updated and it should open up new opportunities for events and partnerships.

What car powers through all seasons? The Mégane by Renault, perfectly envisioned using full CG and VFX – no live action shoot needed.

In collaboration with directing team Andrew Nawrot and Sonja Jasansky, the Hinge creative team developed this all-CG spot for the Renault Mégane in just under two weeks. The spot features dramatic lighting as well as naturalistic visual effects of water, smoke and haze.

LOS ANGELES, CA October 11, 2013 – Fox Searchlight Pictures announced that director Jean-Marc Valléebegan principal photography in Oregon this week on WILD. The film stars Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon (WALK THE LINE, MUD). The screenplay is adapted by Oscar nominated writer Nick Hornby (AN EDUCATION, High Fidelity) from author Cheryl Strayed’s NY Times #1 best-seller Wild, the book that re-launched Oprah’s Book Club 2.0.

“House of Last Things” is Big in Russia… Gains 1st Distribution Deal

Congrats to HOUSE OF LAST THINGS on their first international release today in Russia through CMS FILM. The Bartlett directed thriller was one of Oregon’s first independent features to recieve an i-OPIF grant. The film premiered in France in January and has since been selected for festivals in Brazil, Germany, and Mexico. The Russian package includes theatrical, dvd, and online

OPIF Tax Credit Auction is Open – DOR Website is Up

The October Oregon Production Investment Fund Auction is now open. This time the total amount of tax credits to be auctioned will be $4,000,000. The process will be exactly like the successful auction conducted in July. It’s important to know that there is only time for one more OPIF auction this year so we will be working hard to make sure all $4,000,000 sells out in the designated time frame.

“The Voyage of the S.S. Stardust” tells the story of a space galleon and her adventurous crew, who are searching for the fabled North Star. When they stumble across a supernova, they change course to pursue their new found treasure. It won’t be an easy journey, though, filled with danger, adventure, and musical whimsy! The crew of the S.S. Stardust will find their true calling in the depths of space.
