Hinge Digital was tapped by SBI Media to provide animation services for NBC’s much anticipated animated episode of Community. The live-action sitcom, now in it’s 5th season, is no stranger to animation – having produced several experimental episodes including a stop-motion Christmas episode and one in the style of an 8-bit video game. TNT Gives Green Light for New 10 Episode Series, “The Librarians”, to Shoot in Oregon

TNT has given the green light for a 10 episode order of a new drama series, “The Librarians”, (a follow up to the movie trilogy, “The Librarian“).  Electric Entertainment produced the trilogy, and is also taking on “The Librarians”.  TNT and Dean Devlin’s Electric Entertainment are no strangers to Oregon, having shot all but one season of “Leverage” here.  We are thrilled to welcome them back, with the cast and crew in place and ready to start work. To help studios and producers stay on top of crew and resources and to promote Oregon’s unique production advantages, the trade group Oregon Media Production Association (OMPA) has released the 2014 SourceOregon, a directory of the professional crew, talent, vendors and support services that make up Oregon’s bustling industry. Industry parties in Portland, Eugene, and Ashland are scheduled in April to celebrate the directory’s launch. Oregon Shakespeare Festival Costume Rentals Moves to New Facility

New warehouse upstairs accessoy roomThe new Production Department Building for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Talent, OR, completed construction in late October 2013. On November 19th, OSF Costume Rentals started the monumental task of moving their stock of over 50,000 costume pieces from a rented warehouse in Ashland, OR, their home of almost ten years, six miles down the road to their brand new state of the art facility. The improvements are undeniable, going from about 8,000 square feet to just over 11,000, customized rack systems for hanging costumes, climate control, even floors, a window, the fact that the new facility isn’t a converted lumber mill (the former facility was a space in the old Parson’s Pine mill building)… Continue reading... “Oregon Shakespeare Festival Costume Rentals Moves to New Facility”

NBC Universal’s, Season 3 of “Grimm” Premieres Strong – More Great Episodes to Come
