Goodbye To “Grimm” – Last Season Premiering Tomorrow Night on NBC

Tomorrow night sees “Grimm“‘s last season premiere – we will all be sad to say goodbye to the show’s quirky and murky portrayal of Portland’s fictitious underbelly, the real city locations, the Wesen, the Police precinct, and the many character actors and stars alike. Six seasons, seven years in the making, and well over 100 episodes later, “Grimm” is set to come to an end, but it leaves behind a healthy and successful legacy of collaboration between the city, NBC, the many crew members, special effects houses, extras, and literally hundreds of local services and vendors. Become A Part Of Seaside, An Oregon Indie Revenge Thriller
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1757826396/seaside-a-feature-length-thriller-set-on-the-orego?ref=creator_nav
Seaside was shot in Portland and the Coast in April with some great New York actors, including Ariana DeBose (Hamilton), and some wonderful Portland actors, including Jana Lee Hamblin, Haley Talbot, Bob Olin, Victoria Blake, Jennie Vaughn, and Brandt Leeds, all cast by Simon Max Hill.
Portland producer is Alyssa Roehrenbeck, Cinematographer Phil Anderson, and Production Designer Jade Harris. And our composer, Megan Diana McGeorge, is the creator of Portland’s Piano.Push.Play.
We also had tremendous in-kind support from local businesses (Mother’s Bistro, Batter, Gearhead, Kroerner Camera, city of Seaside, Funland Arcade, Water Avenue Coffee, and many more). Continue reading... “Become A Part Of Seaside, An Oregon Indie Revenge Thriller”

Adult Swim & Hinge Team Up For Toonami

It’s been nearly a year since Adult Swim Toonami team tapped Hinge‘s Portland-based studio to produce show bumpers and the season finale of Toonami Intruder II, where the show’s venerable host TOM, and his AI co-host SARA, crash land on an unknown planet to find a new base of operations. The episode had something fun for both the hard core fans (who’ve enjoyed the show since it’s beginnings in 1997) as well as the casual viewers. If you want to see the finale again, here it is in full, thanks to our friends at Adult Swim. Continue reading... “Adult Swim & Hinge Team Up For Toonami”
