Nominees are selected by “committees of film and television critics, journalists, festival programmers, and film curators. Hello everyone in the film world of Oregon. I am happy to be given a moment on this platform to talk about my new film and the campaign around it. We’re the state film office. Or, the State Film Commission. Or, Oregon Film as some call it. And, as such, we are tasked with growing the film, television, commercial, interactive, and media industry here in Oregon. We bring attention to, elevate, and support the industry in many different ways.

Project support. We think that Customer Service means a great deal. Therefore, we make sure we are responsive, it doesn’t matter if a project is big or small, from out-of-state, or coming from one of our local producers or companies. OregonMade Creative Foundation Nominated For Community Impact Award, Inaugural Global Production Awards

We are excited to confirm that Oregon Film’s non-profit, the OregonMade Creative Foundation has been nominated by Screen International and the Global Production Awards for a Community Impact Award. Screen International unveiled the shortlist for the inaugural Awards which celebrates outstanding and sustainable work in the world of film and TV production, locations, studios, and film offices.

The awards recognize organizations and companies working in the film and TV industry including studios, production companies, film commissions, locations, suppliers and manufacturers, and any services involved in film and TV production. Eastern Oregon Filmmaker Residency Program Announces 2023 Cohort

Eastern Oregon Film Festival is excited to announce the cohort for the 2023 Eastern Oregon Filmmaker Residency Program, taking place from April 30-May 26 in La Grande.

The selected attendees will be hosted at The Lodge at Hot Lake Springs and will engage with the community, Eastern Oregon University Students and Faculty, local businesses, and more as they focus on writing screenplays that are informed and enriched by their time in the Grande Ronde Valley.

Confluence Announces Filmmaker Fellows Program

Confluence is pleased to announce the Confluence Filmmaker Fellows program in partnership with Oregon Film and the Creative Opportunity Program. Three Indigenous video artists with a cultural connection to Oregon will receive cash prizes to support a film project they are developing: one for $5,000 and two for $2,500. Here at the Oregon Film office, we often get the question: “What do you do?” Well, the best answer is “a lot” but that isn’t sufficient to really capture all the work that goes on in this office. So let’s break it down.

The Oregon Film office has the mandate to oversee the economic development of the film, television, interactive, animation, and commercial industries in Oregon – with projects and producers that are living and working within the state, as well as projects and producers that are looking to bring their shows from outside of Oregon.
