OregonMade Creative Foundation Nominated For Community Impact Award, Inaugural Global Production Awards

We are excited to confirm that Oregon Film’s non-profit, the OregonMade Creative Foundation has been nominated by Screen International and the Global Production Awards for a Community Impact Award. Screen International unveiled the shortlist for the inaugural Awards which celebrates outstanding and sustainable work in the world of film and TV production, locations, studios, and film offices.

The awards recognize organizations and companies working in the film and TV industry including studios, production companies, film commissions, locations, suppliers and manufacturers, and any services involved in film and TV production.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at Cannes Film Festival on May 22, 2023.

Judges for the inaugural Global Production Awards include senior vice president at HBO Jay Roewe; Elvis producer Schuyler Weiss, president of production and development at Bazmark; Amazon Studios’ head of worldwide production and post-production, Tim Clawson; producer and former Sundance executive Bird Runningwater; and the Association of Film Commissioners International’s (AFCI) executive director, Jaclyn Philpott.

The expert judging panel was assembled by specialist strategy consultancy Olsberg SPI, whose CEO Jonathan Olsberg and managing director Leon Forde will be co-chairing judging panels, along with Screen International editor Matt Mueller.

The Global Productions Awards is in association with Screen’s sister brands KFTV and Broadcast. Confirmed sponsors for the inaugural awards to date include Film AlUla, Sunbelt Rentals, and HERO (gold); Calgary Economic Development; and Dallas Film & Creative Industries Office.
