Join us at Curious Comedy Theatre every third Sunday of the month for Attack of the Flix – a competition for Portland filmmakers.
All films must be less than 10 minutes long and are submitted on USB thumb drives. We screen nothing beforehand! Admission is free (donation bucket at the door).
Eugene, OR. DIVA’s Youth Visions’ program is now accepting 5-minute videos, or shorter, produced by Lane County youth ages 13-19 for its 2012 Teen Video Challenge Festival. The submission deadline is March 2, 2012.
Each year teens from all over Lane County submit work that is reviewed by a panel of video professionals and educators. Winning videos will be awarded cash prizes at this year’s event on Saturday, April 14th at the Bijou Cinema Arts Theater in Eugene.
This year the University of Oregon’s media team was able to record the annual meeting and now it’s available here. If you have a Mac you’ll first need to download the flip for Mac Application which can be found here. To celebrate the Film Center’s 40th anniversary, we invite Northwest filmmakers to enter the MAKE IT SHORT film contest. No matter what genre or format—narrative, documentary, experimental, animation, 16mm, camera phone, DSLR—we want to see it, but keep it short: 40 seconds or less.
Eugene, OR. Oregon filmmakers are encouraged to enter DIVA’s eighth annual OpenLens Festival to be held January 28th, 2012. The competition is accepting short films of 15 minutes or less made by Oregon residents.
