Hey all! My feature, filmed entirely in Portland, is premiering at The Clinton Street Theater this July. Marty in Transit is an ambitious 90-minute, one-shot thriller about an FBI Agent hunting down a killer who is targeting cab drivers.

Sundance Film Festival announced its lineup today and we are pleased to see that Debra Granik‘s (“Winter’s Bone”) new feature, “Untitled Debra Granik Project” was just accepted in the festival’s World Premiere section. Producers and University of Oregon students Tanner Staab and Claire Williams sought to create a mini series on an entirely new scale, breaking common trends in student film. They wanted an adventure, a show that would not only have appeal outside of the student body, but also take them far from the often-used filming locations around the University of Oregon campus. These objectives soon became Indiana Johana: An Action RPG Adventure.

The recently-launched SmashTheHive Studio in SE Portland has just debuted its first production —the “My American Waistline” animated comedy series.
