Daisy Ridley, (Star Wars prequel trilogy) recently shared her thoughts on the movie Sometimes I Think About Dying” and her experiences filming in Oregon. Ridley portrays Frances, a young woman dealing with anxiety and despair, in this thought-provoking movie that recently premiered in competition at Sundance. During the filming, Ridley spent time in Astoria and on the Oregon Coast, and she had nothing but good things to say about these locations.

#OregonMade “Sometimes I Think About Dying” In Competition At Sundance

The #OregonMade romantic comedy feature, “Sometimes I Think About Dying”  is set to premiere in competition at Sundance Film Festival (January 19, 04:00 PM – 7:00 PM) in the US dramatic feature section. Stefanie Abel Horowitz wrote the original short and as well as the feature (with co-writers Kevin Armento and Katy Wright Mead) and it was directed by Rachel Lambert, with Daisy Ridley producing and playing the lead, “Fran”. Portland Art Museum Screening “Shut Up Anthony” – Tonight!

In case you have not seen it, Kyle Eaton‘s “Shut Up Anthony“, is screening tonight at the Portland Art Museum (7pm). The indie comedy has been picking up traction and some nice reviews and recently won a Spirit Award (for Narrative Feature) at the Brooklyn Film Fest. Starring Robert A.
