We stock mostly used so we have a lot of interesting oddities, but the basics of our business are shelving units, showcases, clothing racks, cash counters, mannequins, display forms – everything you need to make a store look like a store.

The majority of our revenue comes from selling fixtures to retail establishments, and most of our rentals are to clothiers, jewelry designers, and other retailers who just need a rack or a mannequin for a one-day event like a convention or a festival. #OregonMadeShows Exhibit Opens At PDX

#OregonMadeShows Exibit

In collaboration with PDXART, and many other partners (please see list below) a new exhibit is up on Concourse E, at the Portland International Airport this week.  The exhibit showcases “vignettes” of artifacts, props and images from just a few of the 400+ feature films & television shows that have utilized Oregon as their production backdrop over the years.  From the early silent era films like “Fisherman’s Bride” (shot in Astoria, 1908), to “Grimm”, the popular NBC television series currently shooting in Portland, Oregon has played an important role in production. Oregon Media Production Community Rolls Out Red Carpet, Honors Best Local Performances Of The Year

The annual 2015 Oregon Actors Awards took place at the Portland Center Stage, to a packed house over the week end.  The awards recognized outstanding members of Oregon’s film, video and multimedia industry.  Four awards were given to film, TV and commercial actors, and one for community service.

A Seasonal Crop of Oregon- Made Fall Shows

NBC Universal’s “Grimm” begins season 5 just in time for Halloween, and will premiere October 30 (Fridays 9/8c). The first episode, “The Grimm Identity” promises that “vengeance rises from the ashes”, and this season will contain the 100th episode that Silas Weir Mitchell (Monroe) suggests will finally explain the ramifications of the  “keys and coins”.  Stay tuned!

TNT’s “The Librarians” will be rolling out their season 2 premiere November 1 (8/7c).  “Returning to the universe of TNT’s hit movie franchise, The Librarian, this new series centers on an ancient organization hidden beneath the Metropolitan Public Library dedicated to protecting an unknowing world from the secret, magical reality hidden all around. Koerner Camera Awards Inaugural Film Scholarships To Two PSU Students

Koerner Camera“The Film Program and the College of the Arts at Portland State University are pleased to announce the Koerner Camera Film Scholarship, the inaugural film scholarship in the School of Theater + Film. This scholarship will provide access to high quality film education and pre-professional training for two undergraduate film students with a course of study emphasizing PSU_Logocinematography. Two $5,000 scholarships will be awarded each year for five years.

Big Turnout For PWA’s NW Careers Expo

Oregon Governor, Kate Brown, was a special guest speaker at the PWA (Portland Workforce Alliance) NW Careers Expo 2015 breakfast this year, along with Portland Mayor, Charlie Hayes, Portland Public School Superintendent, Carole  Smith and Elemental Technologies CEO, Sam Blackman. Around 130 employers, and over 5,000 high-schoolers from all over the state attended the expo .  The students were able to talk directly to employers about career options, ask advice on paths to take toward their dream jobs, try hands-on applications and participate in mock interviews.  Continue reading... “Big Turnout For PWA’s NW Careers Expo”
