Find out more here.
“Top Secret Club” is presented by Desert Island Studios in partnership with Artists Rep Theatre and Oregon Film and supported by the Creative Opportunity Program.
The winners of this year’s “Tell Your Story” grants are Karina Lomelin Ripper and Luann Algoso & Christian Henry. These filmmakers will receive a non-project-specific grant of $15,000 and at least six months of direct support from the Oregon Film Office as well as shared office space at Desert Island Studios. The grant was designed to support a non-project-specific, virtual residency, allowing filmmakers to develop, explore, and shoot the stories they want to tell in any film format they choose.
“What does Oregon Film do?” Do you know?
We’re the state film office. Or, the State Film Commission. Or, Oregon Film as some call it. And, as such, we are tasked with growing the film, television, commercial, interactive, and media industry here in Oregon. We bring attention to, elevate, and support the industry in many different ways.
Project support. We think that Customer Service means a great deal. Therefore, we make sure we are responsive, it doesn’t matter if a project is big or small, from out-of-state, or coming from one of our local producers or companies.

Today, Kristi Turnquist (OregonLive) shone a light and some insight on “set-jetting” (film tourism) in Oregon with two pieces; one on the popularity of the Oregon Film Trail, and the other highlighting the important economic benefits of film tourism for the state.
Last year, Expedia announced that its research showed that set-jetting would be an increasing trend to watch in 2023 and confirmed that “streamed movies and TV shows are now the top sources of travel inspiration (40%), outpacing the influence of social media (31%).
