Ashland Independent Film Festival A Success

The 14th annual Ashland Independent Film Festival took place over the week end in southern Oregon. AIF gives special focus to small independent features and shorts and always includes Oregon projects.
During the 5 days of screenings and events, 97 films were presented, as well as many workshops, Q-and-A’s and “talk-back” sessions. All of the screenings were well attended at this packed festival.

Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation’s On Screen/In Person program tours independent American filmmakers to communities throughout the mid-Atlantic region to screen their recent work. To further engage audiences, Filmmakers also collaborate with host sites to develop community activities, such as artist talks or workshops.

The Pendleton Real West Festival, a new film event in Eastern Oregon, barrels into town April 16-18 with a lineup of classic Westerns, Native American cinema and cutting edge work by Northwest filmmakers.
