Oscilloscope Labs Release New Trailer – “Sometimes I Think About Dying”

Oscilloscope Labs released the official trailer for the #oregonamde indie film, “Sometimes I Think About Dying” and announced its release date, on January 26, 2024. The feature was produced by, and stars, Daisy Ridley (Star Wars prequel trilogy) and first premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. Set in Oregon, it cast features Ridley, Dave Merheje, Parvesh Cheena, Marcia DeBonis, and Bree Elrod. “Sometimes I Think About Dying is “an unexpected fable on the virtues of living.”

Dawn Jones Redstone‘s #oregonmade Mother of Color” gets nationwide distribution with Amazon Prime!

Dawn (she/her) is an accomplished Oregon filmmaker and an award-winning queer, Mexican American writer/director. She directed multiple short films including the acclaimed ‘Sista in the Brotherhood” distributed by Collective Eye. Her narratives often feature women of color (in front and behind the camera) and she explores themes of resistance and feminism. Dawn has been the recipient of multiple grants and awards in Oregon, including from; the Regional Arts and Culture Council, Portland Art Museum, Seeding Justice, Oregon Futures Lab, Story Changes Culture, and Prosper Portland. Made-in-Oregon films abound at 11th annual Klamath Independent Film Festival

For the 11th rendition of the Klamath Independent Film Festival, Oregon’s lone film fest that exclusively showcases Made-in-Oregon shorts and feature-length films, over 50 selected films will be presented in-person and online Sept. 22-24.
Organized by Klamath Film, a 501c3 nonprofit that serves as the film liaison office for Klamath County, the festival draws filmmakers and film fans from across the state to Klamath Falls for a three-day celebration of films made across Oregon over the past year. PassinArt Theatre: Pacific Northwest Multi Cultural Readers Series & Film Festival

PassinArt Theatre is having their second biennial Pacific Northwest Multicultural Readers Series & Film Festival Thursday – Sunday, August 17-20, 2023 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Portland, Oregon.
