Hinge Digital: Fruit! In! Space!

[vimeo]http://vimeo.com/86377166[/vimeo]

Inspired by Jamba Juice, the Hinge creative team developed this delicious and fun all-CG spot, featuring cinematic camera moves, dramatic lighting and exploding cosmic fruit, uniquely blended to perfection.

Fruit! In! Space!

After our success creating a foodscape of fruits and vegetables for NVIDIA, our team here at Hinge Digital was inspired by Jamba Juice to create a whole universe of fruit juice. We wanted to build on their existing name recognition, but expand the brand’s appeal to a younger, tech-savvy, science-fiction audience and exploit the natural beauty of both natural fruit textures and outer space.

Dancing Sisters Focus of SOAR Documentary

Soar

If you’ve ever seen Kiera Brinkley and Uriah Boyd dance together, you know that they share a bond that goes beyond sisterhood. Born one month after a childhood illness resulted in the amputation of Kiera’s hands and legs, Uriah grew up helping her older sister adapt. Her style of movement reflects the grace and flow that Kiera relies on to move without prosthetics. In fact, both young women credit each other for helping them become the people they are today.

tw5a9892-wide  Portland based digital creative agency Instrument recently teamed with iUrban Teen to host a digital creative workshop for teens in the Portland community.  From all accounts it was a great day for all parties.  The teen participants were exposed to exciting new technologies received some insight into future career opportunities right in their backyard.  For Instrument, the afternoon creative brainstorm session brought ideas that the creative team at Instrument admittedly would have never thought of.

Welcome To PixAir!

mockup3

When Perry sent me an email letting me know that he had purchased a jet airliner mock up I knew I had to go check it out.  While one or two options for filming in an airliner exist, none present an option that is logistically straight forward and simple.  Shooting inside a real plane is of course the most realistic but the process is complex.  Everything, including all crew and equipment, must pass through security and the crew is matched up with TSA agents inside and outside on the tarmac.
