As a result of the legislation passed this year, Oregon’s Department of Revenue will be conducting another tax credit auction for the Oregon Production Investment Fund.This time the total amount of tax credits to be auctioned will be $4,000,000.The process will be exactly like the successful auction conducted in July.It’s important to know that there is only time for one more OPIF auction this year so we will be working hard to make sure all $4,000,000 sells out in the designated time frame.

BOWTECH Archery engaged Hinge Digital to co-create their new campaign launching the lightest, most maneuverable carbon bow available in modern archery. At just 3.2 lbs, the Carbon Knight is the lightest premium bow ever made.
We have pushed the limits of archery technology with the Carbon Knight bow, and needed a commercial with the tenacity to match,” said Samuel Coalson, Director of Marketing.
The 3rd Annual McMinnville Short Film Festival is scheduled for Sunday, October 6, at 7:00 PM at the Gallery Theater in McMinnville. The deadline to enter a film is September 16, 2013. There is a $20 entry fee per film but no limit to the number of films a filmmaker can submit. The fee raises money for Habitat for Humanity, and helps offset the cost of holding the festival. Each category will offer a $100 top prize to the winner!

It’s exciting to see IFC’s season 3 “Portlandia” sketch comedy show nominated once again for two Emmys for “Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series” (writers, Fred Armisen, Carrie Brownstein, Jonathan Krisel and Bill Oakley) and “Outstanding Directing for a Variety Series” (Jonathan Krisel). In case you are unfamiliar with the PDX 48HFP, On Friday, August 2nd, teams of filmmakers will draw their genre from The Cruel Hat of Fate, and each team will be assigned the Character, Prop, and Line of Dialogue for this year.
