Pride Month: NEUBAU (Neubau)

In our Monthly Film Series, we will show a variety of GERMAN or GERMAN language films from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. On the 2nd Tuesday of each month, audiences will now have a chance to see these films on a regular basis at the CLINTON STREET THEATER. (Children’s movies will be playing on Sunday afternoons – please check our website.) All films are with English subtitles.

Cinema Unbound Awards Return on June 22

The Portland Art Museum’s cutting-edge media arts organization, PAM CUT // Center for an Untold Tomorrow, is hosting the 4th annual Cinema Unbound Awards on June 22, 2023, highlighting artists, innovators and leaders who are not content to be contained.

The 2023 celebration will include a transformative meal conceived of by Portland’s most celebrated chef, Gregory Gourdet, whose restaurant, Kann, was named the Best Restaurant in America by Esquire and one of the top 50 restaurants in America by The New York Times.

On Monday October 24, 2022, Viggo Mortensen walks the titular path with son Kodi Smit McPhee trying escape fires, famine, road warriors, cannibals and the memory of Charlize Theron in this post-apocalyptic road movie adapted from the Cormac McCarthy Novel as part of the #OregonMade Film Series at the Hollywood Theatre.

Oregon Film: Who We Are & What We Do (Update 2022)

What has Oregon Film been up to? – After assuring our industry worked so well through the turbulent pandemic period with several projects of all sizes, 2022 started off with a slow down. Needless to say, Oregon is still attractive and a great place to bring your creative production. Recently we worked with the state legislature and partners like the OMPA and the IATSE and SAG-AFTRA unions to increase the film and media cash rebate percentages from 18% to 25%. Historic Jefferson County Courthouse and Jail – Restored and Ready for Your Next Film

 

The Historic Jefferson County Courthouse and Jail in Madras, OR has now been restored and is ready for you to film your next project there. Today, the 6,500-square-foot courthouse features offices on the first floor for a property management company and two law firms. The second floor, which was used for trials and still has its original jury chairs, is open for events like weddings and anniversaries. Outside the courthouse has a landscaped lawn and a gazebo.
