After an award-winning, multi-city festival run, Little Miss Anomaly Productions is proud to announce that Tara Johnson-Medinger’s directorial debut film, My Summer as a Goth will be returning to Portland November 18-21st as the next selection of The Portland Circuit.
Two Oregon Film Trail signs were unveiled over the week end honoring Salem’s starring role as a location for “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest” (the honors being done by Oregon Museum of Mental Health Museum Curator, Megan Lallier-Barron and Dennie Brooks, Board Member.) The signs mark two different filming locations related to the now classic feature film, “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest,” and feature facts and anecdotes about the film. Hawai’i “lava drama” Stoke premieres in Portland at the Clinton Street Theater on Friday, July 26 at 7pm, with filmmakers in attendance. I wrote, produced and co-directed Stoke, an island-take on the road film genre as weird and wild as Hawai’i (and Portland) itself.
The short film Nowheres Wolf: A Call Not Answered is inspired by the life of Oregon’s famous wolf named Journey, aka OR-7. The film is mid-production and starting to take off, hitting some heartfelt points in the film and animation industry including developing non-toxic building materials for artists and makers as well as advocating for local wildlife.
OneRepublic’s latest music video, Would you Rescue Me? shot on location in the beautiful City of Silverton, and Silver Falls State park, with all the action taking place in the woods and in around the immediate downtown area.
The Telluride Film Festival is a “celebration of artistic excellence brings together cinema enthusiasts, filmmakers and artists to discover the best in world cinema in the beautiful mountain town of Telluride, Colorado.”
