EOFF2013 is the fourth annual Eastern Oregon Film Festival held in La Grande, OregonFebruary 28th – March 2nd, 2013. EOFF features an amazing line-up of emerging independent feature and short films. “House of Last Things” to Premiere at “20th International Festival du Film Fantastique de Gerardmer”

MICHAEL BARTLETT’s Oregon made “House of Last Things” has been selected to premiere in competition in France January 30 – February 4th at the “20th International Festival du film fantastique de Gérardmer”. One of nine films selected for competition, the films in competition include Barry Levinson’s “The Bay,” and from Spain, “Mama”.

Cast includes Lindsey Haun (TRUE BLOOD), Blake Berris (DAYS OF OUR LIVES), and RJ MITTE (BREAKING BAD) in his first feature film role.

Happy Holidays from Limbo Films!

My what a busy year 2012 turned out to be! We produced spots for Mead Notebooks, Ikea, Intel, Kent State University, Cadet Heating, Leatherman Tools, and the Portland Trail Blazers.

Once the creatives at New York agency Ryan Partners gave Limbo Films the green light on a national spot for Five Star/Mead Notebooks our first task was setting the excellent trainers from Boones Animals in Hollywood to work. For 2 weeks prior to our Santa Monica based shoot they trained 4 hero and 4 back-up pooches to do the tricks required by the script and all their work paid off. BendFilm Festival Oct. 11-14, 2012

The BendFilm Festival will be taking place October 11-14, 2012 in Bend, Oregon.  Tickets for the festival are now available online.

Orit Schwartz, Festival Director, said,

“We’re selling tickets earlier than ever this year and anticipate a great response from members and the general public. Buzz has been building about our films and parties, including the resurgence of a dance party, which will be held at our newest venue, the Cascade Theatrical Company, on Friday night of the festival featuring DJ Bryan Swett.”

Thanks to the efforts of many local crew and vendors this year, a float featuring “Grimm” and the many families working in Oregon’s film industry was in this year’s Starlight Parade. New Startup “The Digits” is Greenlighted for Rebates from the Oregon Governor’s Office of Film & TV

Last week, web series creator Scotty Iseri received some good news on the startup venture he’s bringing into existence in September 2012; The Oregon Governor’s Office of Film & Television granted Iseri’s newest project, The Digits, to be the office’s first Next Generation media project to receive production rebates through the Indiginous Production Fund.

 

The Digits is an interactive “Appisode”, that involves a trio of lovable live action characters who travel the galaxy fighting evil. Iseri’s mission with The Digits is two-fold in helping 7-to-13 year olds love math and to feel good about their intelligence.
