#EOFF2022 Call For Entries Open, Encore Screening Series

It’s February Encore Screening time. Opening up February 13 for our virtual encore series, this month features Lauren Everett’s short doc THUNDAAR LIVES!, Jen Elkington’s JEAN, Rollyn Stafford’s ZOMBIE WALK, and Kerry O’Neill’s short narrative BEA AT REHAB. The short film block will be available until the end of February.

The encore screening series is a way to share #EOFF2021 short films with our community of friends, filmmakers, and audiences alike as we build out our ‘Friends of the Festival’ catalog and make large steps towards our The Liberty Theatre’s opening and our thirteenth annual program scheduled for OCTOBER 20-22, 2022.

Eastern Oregon Film Festival – October 21-23

The Eastern Oregon Film Festival will celebrate its twelfth year of programming independent cinema in La Grande, Oregon on October 21-23. The festival will present 52 films over the course of the three days, both in-person and also via a virtual streaming platform.  The official selections were announced on August 15th, and include 12 Feature-length films and 40 shorts in a variety of styles, formats, forms, and content. La Grande, Ore – Eastern Oregon Film Festival will be celebrating its eleventh year of independent film and music programming VIA La Grande, Oregon on October 22-24, 2020.This year EOFF joins a trend that we are all becoming more accustomed to – online delivery via a virtual cinema partner.

#EOFF2020 Sneak Peek & Program Release Virtual Event

EOFF2020 Sneak PeekEastern Oregon Film Festival will share the details of its eleventh annual program via a virtual ‘Sneak Peek’ event on the evening of Wednesday September 16. At 7:00pm, guests will be able to log in, buy a pass, and watch the #EOFF2020 ‘Trailer of Trailers’ promo video. Starting at 8:00pm, festival Director Christopher Jennings will be going live on the Eventive platform to outline more details about this year’s lineup, ticketing and membership options.

#EOFF2019 : Ten Years Of Cinema And Celebration

Eastern Oregon Film Festival will celebrate its TENTH annual three-day event October 24-26 in La Grande, Oregon. 

LA GRANDE – Festival-goers will be taken on a journey with this year’s film program. Opening night explores Milena Pastreich’s PIGEON KINGS, which documents a group of men in South Central LA who train pigeons for the competitive sport of Avian Acrobatics. Also screening is Taryn Southern and Elena Gaby’s sci-fi documentary exploring the co-evolution of humans and technology in I AM HUMAN. Eastern Oregon Film Festival is delighted to announce the official film selections for the TENTH annual three-day event held October 24-26 in La Grande, Oregon.

EOFF’s programming staff received a record number of submitted films this year spanning a wide variety of themes, genres and formats. Festival-goers will be taken on a journey through works like Milena Pastreich’s PIGEON KINGS, which documents the men in South Central LA who train pigeons for the competitive sport of avian acrobatics, and into Taryn Southern and Elena Gaby’s sci-fi documentary exploring the co-evolution of humans and technology in I AM HUMAN, and back again with Adam Khalil and Bayley Sweitzer’s haunting and inspiringly imaginative EMPTY METAL. Eastern Oregon Film Festival will celebrate its tenth year of programming from October 24-26, 2019.

#EOFF2019 is now open for submission. Filmmakers hoping to participate should visit FILMFREEWAY.COM/EOFILMFEST for details and to submit. The festival is looking for feature and short length films across all genres. The submission regular deadline is  April 20, 2019.

Eastern Oregon Film Festival has unfortunately lost access to screening film at The Granada Theatre after ownership opted out of its partnership with EOFF. With much excitement, the EOFF team is working hard with other partners like Eastern Oregon University, Union County, EOFF membership, and outlying key regional venues to plan a lively tenth year of celebration. Ninth Annual Eastern Oregon Film Festival Celebrate Film, Music, And Community

LA GRANDE – Eastern Oregon Film Festival invites you to visit La Grande, Oregon for the ninth annual Eastern Oregon Film Festival held October 18-20 in downtown La Grande. The intimate gathering will feature twelve film screening blocks, both feature-length and short format across multiple genres, held at The Granada Theatre and EOFF’s own creative mixed-use space, hq, along with three evenings of after party showcasing emerging musical talent.
