Bent Image Lab launches into Television Programming with “Jingle All the Way” for the Hallmark Channel

Bent Image Lab, the animation studio behind many successful commercials, music videos, shorts, and visual effects projects is now co-producing long format content for television. “Jingle All the Way”, a stop motion animated show for Hallmark Channel is Bent’s first endeavor into long form animation. Airing November 25^th as part of Hallmark Channel’s “Countdown to Christmas”, “Jingle All the Way” is based off of an original storybook from Hallmark. The show was directed by Bent partner Chel White, produced by Bent’s Executive Producer Tsui Ling Toomer and executively produced by Bent Partner Ray Di Carlo and Hallmark’s Jodi Schade, Diana Stuart, Chad Harris, and Shawn McClaren.

You only need to glance at the comments posted on this YouTube clip to see how this particular commercial, showing off the new Audi A6, has people fired up! But non-the-less, we like car commercials and we have many shooting here to know! They often have healthy budgets and of course, provide local jobs. We make an effort to promote the versatile roads of Oregon and in some ways it’s not that difficult; beautiful high desert, mountains, beaches, urban scenes, small towns and an easy distance between them.

Great ‘Short’ Program at Eastern Oregon Film Festival

Eastern Oregon Film Festival is primed to present it’s 3rd annual program beginning Thursday, October 20-Saturday October 22, in La Grande, Oregon. The program is packed with award winning films, guest directors, Skype Q&A’s, some of the best NW bands, and a wonderful and masterful collection of shorts. Come visit La Grande for this year’s 20 Films, 7 Bands, 3 days – in Eastern Oregon.

This week IFC put this clip up on their website to give fans of “Portlandia” a taste of what is to come for season 2. We all know that Oregon loves it’s recycling! In fact all you Portlanders – are you ready to start the city wide composting effort that begins October 31? Hopefully we’ll see more clips of “Portlandia” in the weeks leading up to the show’s season 2 premiere on January 9.

Sneak Peak of “Grimm” – Cast describes pleasure of filming in Portland

In today’s People website, there is a good video sneak peak of “Grimm”. Most of the cast is interviewed about the show. Towards the end of the video the cast talks about the experience of filming in Portland. Even though they are beginning to experience the pleasure of the rain coming back into the Northwest, the cast seems to be enjoying the experience. Be sure to check out the video here.
