Jumpdrive Studios Launches XO On Kickstarter

At the start of 2015, I found a new job at Jumpdrive Studios and left a 10 year career in the music business behind. My love of video games has never been a secret, and getting to work on them every single day is like a dream come true.  On top of that, we teamed up with one of my favorite composers Jim Guthrie – who I very much admire.  His work on Sword & Sworcery and Indie Game: The Movie is basically what inspired me to start writing video game music in the first place, and what set me on my path into the games industry.

Avoid a cat-astrophe in the bathroom! In an original pitch spot called “Cat’s Meow: The Interruption,” Hinge’s creative team brings attention to a very real problem facing cats and their owners everywhere.

The concept was developed in-house and shot with Portland crew and talent. The animation and post team created and integrated a photo real CG cat into the live action plates — all with a dash of litter humor.

2015 OPIF Tax Credit Auction Coming Up July 8-17

opif-auction-2015We just wanted to remind everyone that the Oregon Department of Revenue is planning to once again conduct a tax credit auction for the Oregon Production Investment Fund (OPIF) this July.  The total amount of tax credits to be auctioned this year will be $10,000,000.

The process will be exactly the same as the successful auction conducted last July.  We will be working hard to make sure all the tax credits sell out in the designated time frame.  If we are successful in this goal, this will be the only opportunity for people to contribute to the fund and receive OPIF tax credits for 2015.

 1. the Los Angeles  premiere,
 2. the five screenings around the state, and
 3. the Fox Searchlight prize promotion (that promoted the movie’s release, as well as put a nationwide, and international spotlight on the state).
