The Oregon, independent game developer, Fullbright, has announced that their latest console game, “Tacoma”, has been released on Linux, Microsoft Windows, OS X, and Xbox One, and will be released August 2. This latest game comes as a follow up to their popular, and multi- award-winning game, “Gone Home“ (set in 1990’s Oregon) that became an indie hit.
“Tacoma” takes place in 2088 and is set on a space station of the same name.

The indie comedy has been picking up traction and some nice reviews and recently won a Spirit Award (for Narrative Feature) at the Brooklyn Film Fest. Starring Robert A. DIY Documentary is NW Documentary’s flagship course: a 10-week journey to create a short film from start to finish. We welcome students ages 15 and up with all levels experience to tell a story that is meaningful to them, expressing their personal vision and style using the latest digital tools. Supplementary Editing coursework (Premiere or Final Cut X) and Camera/Lighting courses support the DIY student in achieving their vision. Mr. Jones will also speak about the future of music and arts education and the critical role that it plays. Jazz Forest (a world-renowned jazz ensemble) will be performing, along with a live performance by the Oregon Crusaders.

Design Lab Director Solomon Burbridge crafted two :15 second energetic, stop motion spots for the 2017 Keno “Bulls Eye” campaign in collaboration with the creative team from Pollinate.
Burbridge guided his team to blend visual influences from classic musical dance numbers of Busby Berkeley with contemporary motion art.
The first thing you notice is the energetic, playful feeling of the spot, syncopated to a driving club beat:
“I approached this with our animation team as a collaborative affair. Essentially, we became an improv troupe of pencils, collectively searching out a non-linear (but parse-able) way to promote fun and elevate everyday objects into graphic motion art,” says Burbridge.
