Based on a short story the running time of this film is not going to stretch anyone’s patience – but that doesn’t stop the director from cranking up the tension as the movie unfolds. “Grimm” is a new drama series inspired by the classic Grimm’s Fairy Tales. Portland homicide Detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli, “Turn The Beat Around”) discovers he is descended from an elite line of criminal profilers known as “Grimms,” charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world.
The Portland area visual effects user group – VFX/PDX – is pulling together their next meeting and intend to wrap up summer with a bang!
The talented and hard working artists & filmmakers from Hinge Digital are headlining this meeting, giving an in depth demo and breakdowns from their most ambitious project yet: a commercial campaign and character design stint for Carrington College.
Portland based director Steven Richter’s feature film “Center of Gravity” is in the official selection for the 20th Raindance Film Festival in London (Sept.26 – Oct.7 2012).
The film was shot in five days in Sao Paulo, Brazil, with two cameras, a minimal crew and budget, starring Brazilian actors Julio Machado and Ana Carolina Lima.
