The #OregonMade Feature Film “Because We’re Family” is available from July 12 on Amazon Video, Apple TV, and Google Play among others. Dysfunctional siblings reunite to witness the cremation of their mother. Back under one roof for the holidays, all decency is lost when a feud over her ashes tests the boundaries of family, and a Christmas Eve tradition becomes difficult to digest.

“The Plan” Begins Production in Southern Oregon

Tuesday was the first day of production for an independent film being shot in southern Oregon.

Described as “Driving Miss Daisy” meets “Reservoir Dogs,” the 75-minute feature film, “The Plan” follows an Uber ride from Sacramento to Josephine County with unexpected consequences.

The film, directed by Brad Douglas, will be shot entirely in southern Oregon and features Los Angeles Comedian and Actor Henry Coleman, local Actress Marlyn Mason, and Oscar winning Special Effects Artist Jeff Dawn.

The producer, Ray Robison talks about why the film is being shot in southern Oregon, “the time is right, to get this done, and this is the right place to do it because there are so many talented people around here.”

The Week A Dream Came True – Traveling On The Oregon Film Trail!

Being a huge 80’s movie fan – especially “The Goonies” and “Stand By Me” – it has long been a dream of mine to take a trip to Oregon and visit the towns of Astoria and Brownsville where some of my favorite movie scenes were filmed, and this year, after a lot of planning, that dream finally came true. After a nine-and-a-half-hour flight from London to Seattle, then a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Seattle we finally arrived in Astoria and were greeted by our first Airbnb host, Judith.

Starring 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards nominee Patrick Fabian–widely known for playing tragic lawyer Howard Hamlin across six seasons of AMC’s hit series Better Call Saul. In The Way We Speak, Fabian plays Simon, an up-and-coming writer who refuses to leave the spotlight when his best friend and debate opponent suffers cardiac arrest, leading to an obsession over his new opponent (played by Kailey Rhodes) and a growing rift with his ailing wife (played by Diana Coconubo).

LOVESICK: A Post-Punk Puzzle VR Game coming soon to Meta Quest

Middle-America, 1999. After a grueling tour that has left them emotionally drained and flat broke, the four members of The New Agenda make it back to their dilapidated home. They have nothing in the fridge, nothing in the bank, and nothing lined up for their future.

They can’t even survive a band practice without tearing each other apart, and during one especially disastrous practice session a supernatural event dubbed “the Feedback” plunges them all into a twisted alternate reality. 

In LOVESICK, you assume the role of Sam, the band’s bassist, as he navigates the strange environments imprisoning his bandmates.

The Rental Sales Gallery is part of Portland Art Museum, and was founded in 1959 as a nonprofit gallery to give people access to the some of best of our regional artists. We proudly represent almost 200 artists from Oregon and Washington State.
