#OregonMade Film Festival at the Bijou Cinema in Lincoln City in October

From October 25 through 31, the Bijou will celebrate films made in the Beaver State via its Oregon Made Film Festival, made possible through a grant from Explore Lincoln City. In support of the city’s goal of showing visitors that Lincoln City can be just as entertaining in the fall as in the summer – though possibly less congested along Highway 101 – owners Keith & Betsy Altomare have scheduled an impressive lineup.

“Three of the films are very local,” Betsy said, “like Sometimes a Great Notion, filmed along the Siletz River; Burning Plain, shot at Tidal Raves restaurant in Depoe Bay; and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, filmed on location in Salem as well as Depoe Bay.”

OPIF Tax Credit Auction – Support the Fund That Supports Our Industry

We wanted to share a recent testimonial from Eric Stolberg at Digital One about his experience with the OPIF Tax Credit Auction:

As a small business owner, my email inbox is overflowing by 8am and there is never enough time in my day. So the first time I saw a notice to take part in the tax auction, I rolled my eyes and thought “Taxes? Yuck! Why would I want to read about taxes? Taxes are boring and complicated. I don’t have time for this…” Yet, a couple of months later, Lisa’s post about how simple it was to take part in the auction came through.
