Back in 2006, I appeared in a very ambitious independent film called (at that time) The Lonely Apocalypse – written and directed by Northwest filmmaker Nicholas J. Hagen.
My part was pretty small – I only had two shoot days on the project. The film itself, however, was shot over the course of an entire month in and around Southwest Washington and incorporated a dizzying array of stunts, special effects, and locations. Everyone who’s seen the movie under its new title Dark Horizon has been impressed by the tension Hagen evoked – and the high production value he was able to bring on such a small budget.

The Oregon Media Arts Fellowship(s) provide financial and other support for production expenses to enable Oregon film or video artists to create or complete new work or works in progress. The Media Arts Fellowship(s) recognize and assist media artists whose work shows exceptional promise and who have demonstrated a commitment to film or video art. The Oregon Arts Commission, the Gordon D. Sondland and Katherine J. Durant Foundation and Oregon Public Broadcasting fund the program.
Chambers Productions is hiring a full time Producer/Director.
Chambers Productions is looking for someone with 5+ years experience. Position will primarily focus on commercial, agency and corporate video projects with occasional opportunity to work on feature film projects.
Position requires experience producing / directing single and multi-camera, studio and field productions, using video equipment, editing software, lighting and audio gear.

“Leverage” is back! And they are bigger than before! Season 3 of “Leverage” has begun principal photography and they are due to shoot sixteen episodes this year. Word is that some local crew has been promoted this year and thanks to Lana Veenker’s “Boot Camp” earlier in the year, we hope to hear of even more local thugs cast in the show. Together, we customized FMYI to handle the unique pressures of the production world. As a producer of nationally syndicated programs for over 10 years, I knew that creating television, film or new media has a seemingly endless number of moving pieces, making good communication within a team critical. With today’s tighter budgets and people working from dispersed locations production has become even more difficult.
