If you have ever wondered how the casting process works or could use some guidance on better communicating with actors, this one-day workshop with director Scott Ballard, is a great place to start. Over the course of the day, workshop particpants will serve as the director in a mock casting session with professional actors and get inside the art and the technique of assessing and selecting the right talent.

“Black Road” shot-in-Ashland-and-southern -Oregon-coast sci-fi thriller starring: Sam Daly, Leilani Sarelle, Simon Templeman, Michelle Lombardo, Danforth Comins and Andrew Wilson, written and directed by Oregonian Gary Lundgren, and produced by Anne Lundgren – premiered in Beverly Hills and Ashland last month.
On Thursday, October 22nd, NW Documentary will present the Grand Premiere of “Voyagers Without Trace”, a feature documentary directed by Ian McCluskey. This film invites views on a treasure hunt with the filmmaker, to uncover what happened to three French adventurers who became the first to kayak down the Green and Colorado rivers in 1938, but then disappeared into obscurity.
