Oregon Media Production Association celebrates achievements of commercial, film, TV and interactive media production in Oregon at their annual meeting on Tuesday night. The meeting will be streamed live beginning at 7pm PST and running for one hour. The streaming link can be found on www.ompa.org or by searching Livestream.com.

Hundreds of actors, agents, casting directors and industry supporters, including Senate President Pro Tempore Ginny Burdick and AFL-CIO President Tom Chamberlain were on hand to celebrate the depth, breadth and professional skills of Oregon’s on-screen acting industry at Oregon’s Got Talent in Portland last Saturday. King Entertainer of the Year Award Curtis Salgado takes center stage at the OMPA Classic, a fundraiser for the Media Arts Education scholarships, presented by Pacific Office Automation. The OMPA Classic takes place on July 12, 2013 at The Resort at The Mountain (Lakeside Lawn) in Welches, Oregon and includes a golf tournament, croquet tournament and awards party with an auction and raffle.
