We are excited to have the opportunity to work with NBC Universal this summer on greening the new series, “Grimm”.  NBC Universal’s Television and Environmental Policy affirms they are, “committed to pursuing environmentally sustainable practices across all of our operations” and these are clearly laid out in their environmental policies that cover the production office, construction, on set and wrap.  That’s great for the state of Oregon as well as the environment generally! World Premiere of Wake Before I Die

We are very proud to announce the World Premiere of the feature film Wake Before I Die on May 15th at McMenamins Bagdad Theater in Portland. The screening is FREE and attendance will be based on a first come first serve basis. This HD screening is also ALL AGES though the film, when rated, will most likely be a PG-13 rating.

Wake Before I Die was the first film to utilize the i-OPIF program which provides rebates of 20% of goods and services and 10% of Oregon labor for films produced by Oregon filmmakers who spend a minimum of $75,000 but not more than $750,000 on their project. OMA Fellowship Winners Announced

The Oregon Media Arts Fellowship, established to recognize and support the work of Oregon film and video makers, announced its 2010 awards November 5 at the 37th Northwest Film & Video Festival to Portland filmmakers Matt McCormick, Nick Peterson and Elijah Hasan. Filmmakers receive cash fellowships administered by the Northwest Film Center.

Brownsville, Oregon is about to come alive with “Stand By Me” fans!

Twenty-five years ago, Rob Reiner and his crew came to Brownsville to make the movie Stand By Me.  On Saturday, July 24th, Brownsville will be celebrating the movie’s anniversary with an event that’s fun for all ages.

There will be an amateur pie eating contest (where contestants eat blueberry pie with both hands behind their backs); dancing with a live band playing 50’s music; an old car cruise in; a photo display of pictures taken behind the scenes in 1985 and lots of other things to do and see.
