Hi,
I’m a photographer based out of Portland and I’ve been working on a new TV series for OPB titled Oregon Photo Adventure. The show features different photographers on each episode providing photographic inspiration and education while showcasing the natural beauty of the state.
The filming for the first season is complete, however some post-production work is still needed before getting the series to air.

Last year around this time Eastern Oregon Film Festival volunteers were working hard on final printing of programs and media in anticipation of last years event — this year – we are just stepping into the great things coming for EOFF in 2013. The fourth annual event will be held February 28th thru March 2, 2013 in La Grande, Oregon. So Eastern Oregon – take this coming weekend and visit Bend Film Festival instead.

In July with the cooperation of Oregon’s Department of Revenue we conducted our first ever auction for the Oregon Production Investment Fund tax credits. By the time the auction was completed we had more bids for the tax credits than what was available. The second stage of the auction required those who submitted a bid to turn in a cashier’s check or money order no later than July 20. The 2012 OPIF Tax Credit Auction is currently underway. Below you will find the link to the DOR tax credit auction website as well as some other important procedural information.
• Auction begins (via a website: http://www.oregon.gov/dor/PERTAX/Pages/credit-auction-info.aspx) on July 9, 2012 at 9:00am.
• The total amount of tax credits that will be auctioned is $6million

This week two companies with a large and growing presence in Oregon announced siginificant new funding. Elemental Technologies, the leading supplier of video solutions for multiscreen content delivery, announced that it raised $13 million in Series C financing led by Norwest Venture Partners (NVP) this week. Elemental was the recipient of last year’s Innovation in Media Arts award. 2012 is proving to be a pivotal year for Elemental thanks in part to the Summer Olympics.
