PORTLAND, Oregon (August 22, 2012) The feature film “Cell Count” premiered on May 20th at the Fantaspoa Fantastic Film Festival in Brazil and plays at the Macabro Film Festival, Montreal HorrorFest, Sitges Film Festival, and Celluloid Screams festival later this year. Today marks the 6th film festival acceptance from the 13th Annual Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre Film Festival in Argentina. Feature film Cell Count has UK Premiere at Celluloid Screams and Canadian Premiere at the Montreal HorrorFest as a part of the Montreal Comic Con.

In July with the cooperation of Oregon’s Department of Revenue we conducted our first ever auction for the Oregon Production Investment Fund tax credits. By the time the auction was completed we had more bids for the tax credits than what was available. The second stage of the auction required those who submitted a bid to turn in a cashier’s check or money order no later than July 20. Sci-Fi Thriller to be released on digital platforms November, 2012
(New York, NY – July 27, 2012) FilmBuff has come onboard to digitally distribute the sci-fi horror film festival favorite, Cell Count from filmmaker Todd E. Freeman (Two Fisted and Pray for Hell), starring Robert McKeehen (“Leverage”), Haley Talbot (“Grimm”), Ted Rooney (“Boardwalk Empire”) and Daniel Baldwin (Grey Gardens).

Yesterday’s Season 2 kickoff event at the stages of “Grimm” was a great time for all to celebrate the fact that several hundred Oregonians are hard at work making the first of 22 episodes for the new season. It was also a great opportunity to feature several local vendors who have benefited in many different ways because of “Grimm” and other projects like “Leverage” and “Portlandia”. While visiting the sets of both “Grimm” and “Leverage”, Governor Kitzhaber has remarked several times about the film and television industry’s great use of the local supply chains.
