Starring Portland talent James Sharinghousen, Eleanor O’Brien, Blake Stone, Jonas Israel, Yelena King, Daniel Villarreal, and Paul Bright, the movie is a send-up of screwball comedies from the 20s, 30s, and 70s.

Environmentalist Larry takes an experimental virility drug to woo back his wife Mary who’s having an affair with Barry who works for Thierry who plans to destroy the remaining habitat of the endangered pocket mouse.

Hinge Digital Wins a National ADDY Award

#OregonMade Hinge Digital won anADDY Award at the national level for Alpenrose’s “Keep Portland Small” campaign. Hinge won the ADDY at the 2022 American Advertising Awards in the Animation, VFX & Motion Graphics category. That’s after winning multiple Gold ADDYs in Seattle this spring.

Big congrats to all of Hinge’s amazing artists who created this charming CG stop-motion style world.

Congratulations to Hinge on their recent CG stop-motion style Alpenrose’s spot, ‘Keep Portland Small’ on winning multiple Addy’s last week – in particular, a Gold in Animation/VFX/Motion Graphics Elements of Advertising/Animation!
Hinge Digutal and CMD teamed up to create this charming stop-motion style CG animated campaign, Keep Portland Small, for Alpenrose’s new home delivery service.
The spot tells the story of the Alpenrose Dairy and its milk deliveries, starting with their beginning in 1916, and the growth of the once-little town of Portland, Oregon.

#OregonMade “Trinkets“, received 7 Day Time Emmy nominations and 5 of those are for local Oregon Crews and individual crew members.

This Netflix series season portrayed a grieving teen who, “finds an unexpected connection with two classmates at her new high school after they all land in the same Shoplifters Anonymous group.

Bend Composer, Chris Thomas, Wins HMMA Award For Outstanding Original Score – Short Film Category

Recently announced by the Hollywood Music in Media Awards that Chris Thomas, Bend composer, and Central Oregon Symphony  cellist – has won the Outstanding Original Score – Short Film award for the live-action short, “Imagine Symphony Live.”  The film is set in Oregon and was produced and directed by Evan Sigvaldsen.  The film depicts the story of a child who, while attending a live orchestra performance, is so inspired by the music that he begins to daydream he is outside exploring the majesty of the Oregon landscape – the magic of the music heightening his experience. Oscar Nomination For Skye Fitzgerald’s “The Hunger Ward”

Oregonian, Skye Fitzgerald, (now based in Portland and grew up in Eastern Oregon) has an impressive collection of documentaries under his belt including, “Lifeboat” which was nominated for an Oscar in the Documentary Short Subject category 2019.  Fitzgerald’s latest documentary, “The Hunger Ward” just garnered a nomination for “Best documentary short subject” in the 93rd Oscar lineup.  The documentary, set against the backdrop of a forgotten war, takes a startling look at the human-caused famine in Yemen and follows health care workers as they work to save the lives of hunger-stricken children in two therapeutic feeding centers.
