Oregon’s Film, Television and media tax incentives are funded through an annual auction which creates the Oregon Production Investment Fund (OPIF). This annual tax credit auction will take place starting at 9a on Monday, September 18, 2023 and run for 5 days until 5p on Friday, September 22, 2023.
$20M of Oregon state tax credits will be available to purchase in $500 increments by auction at a minimum bid of 90% of face value.

BendFilm’s Grant will support a BIPOC women artist with $20,000 toward making their short or feature film. The grant supports storytellers who are working to tell creative and complex stories told from a point of view that is unique and authentic.

In May 2021, I went into the high desert of Central Oregon with a few friends and shot a feature film. Over the course of that summer, we edited that film in a little house off SE Division St. And then a year later, we premiered that film, which is called A PERFECT DAY FOR CARIBOU, in Cineasti del presente at the 75th Locarno Film Festival. Prior to the start of TV/Theatrical/Streaming negotiations, SAG-AFTRA made the decision to allow producers, who may otherwise fall within the scope of the strike order, to apply for an Interim Agreement. These Agreements are for projects that have been confirmed to be separate from the AMPTP and entirely independent.
The Interim Agreement is not a waiver. It is a contract that includes all terms and conditions for producers looking to employ SAG-AFTRA members on their specific independent productions.
We are accepting proposals from partner organizations for projects to be considered for the next Creative Opportunity Program funding from Oregon Film through 5p September 1, 2023. If you run or are part of an media focused organization (non-profit, membership or public benefit entity) and have a program that you believe will be helpful to grow, educate, enlighten, train or otherwise benefit the film, television, animation, commercial, interactive or media community here in Oregon please send us your proposals.
