Christian Kane Launches Kane’s Kitchen Website For New Cooking Show

Christian Kane (“Librarians”) today launched a new site for his soon be released web based show, “Kane’s Kitchen“.  Kane’s popularity was evident when the site crashed twice within 12 hours of launching.  Kane’s business partner and producer on the project is Oregonian, Jose Behar (“Leverage” and “Librarians”).  The Pander Bros were responsible for the animated sequences in the trailer. Oregon Road Sessions: The Weather Machine – Debuts Music In Five State Parks

Above Slater Smith and The Weather Machine play “Wild West Coast” at Peter Skene Ogden State Park .  Four more bands will be featured at four other state park locations.  (To learn more about this project, listen to OPB’s State of Wonder this Saturday at noon.)  You can read more about Slater Smith, and Oregon State parks’ quest to bring music to the outdoors at OPBMUSIC.

Lower Boom Launches!

Lower Boom is a new Portland-based micro-budget film studio, talent incubator, and Film Discovery platform developer, and they are having a launch party this Monday, April 13th, at Dig a Pony (736 SE Grand).

Portland’s LOWER BOOM at SXSW 2015

Lower Boom, a new Portland-based micro-budget movie studio and talent incubator, is heading to SXSW to host a filmmakers get-together, this Sunday, March 15th at the Austin Marriott.

Lower Boom will be giving guests a sneak-peek of their inaugural movie, LETTER B, as well as unveiling the prototype of their Discovery app. The app allows users to discover new films, stories and videos in an easy, fun and mobile-friendly way, as well as providing the opportunity and infrastructure to support exciting new storytellers.
