New Teaser From TNT – Season 4 Of “The Librarians”

The new season of TNT’s  “The Librarians” will premiere with two episodes on a new night; Wednesday, December 20 at 8:00/7:00c.  Rebecca Romijn, Christian Kane, Lindy Booth and John Harlan Kim star in the series along with Emmy-winner John Larroquette. Noah Wyle (Falling Skies, ER) will be back as “Flynn Carsen” in seven of twelve episodes in this upcoming season.

The Oregon Film Museum’s TNT (Thursday Night Talks) lecture series continues March 16th, 2017 with a presentation by Propmaster Tim Oakley of Portland-based Oakley Design Studios. Tim designs and creates props for feature films, television shows and commercial shoots. His work has appeared in over 100 motion pictures, including Dark Knight Rises, Jurassic World, Indiana Jones 4, and all of the Star Trek franchises. Cast Iron Studios, TNT & Film Offices Teamed Up To Repeat Talent Diversity Initiative

Last year, Cast Iron Studios and TNT–along with Act Now Studio and Scott Rogers Studios–hosted the first Northwest Talent Diversity Initiative. The 36-hour intensive acting course gave 32 performers of color the opportunity to hone their chops with two of Portland’s finest acting coaches and a myriad of guest speakers, at no cost to the actors.

TNT and Electrics’, “The Librarians” Opened Strong

TNT’s new drama series, “The Librarians”, (a follow up to the movie trilogy, “The Librarian”) delivered 5.4 million viewers for the two hour premiere in December. TNT and Dean Devlin’s Electric Entertainment are no strangers to Oregon, having shot all but one season of “Leverage” here.  Many locations in the Portland metro area, Clackamas county and even the Captiol building in Salem were used in season one.

TNT Gives Green Light for New 10 Episode Series, “The Librarians”, to Shoot in Oregon

TNT has given the green light for a 10 episode order of a new drama series, “The Librarians”, (a follow up to the movie trilogy, “The Librarian“).  Electric Entertainment produced the trilogy, and is also taking on “The Librarians”.  TNT and Dean Devlin’s Electric Entertainment are no strangers to Oregon, having shot all but one season of “Leverage” here.  We are thrilled to welcome them back, with the cast and crew in place and ready to start work. TNT’s Geena Davis Bounty Hunter Pilot Confirmed to Shoot In Oregon

Baker’s Place On Oregon’s Film Trail

Oregon is featured in more than 500 films, and a project by the state film office is marking movie locations with informational signs.

Baker County has three signs, all dedicated to the 1969 musical “Paint Your Wagon,” which was filmed here in 1968.

The markers can be found outside Baker Heritage Museum, 2480 Grove St., inside the lodge at Anthony Lakes Mountain Resort, and outside the city hall in Richland, once the ground thaws (this one will eventually be placed at Richland’s future playground).
