The Ashland Independent Film Festival has unveiled ten film selections from its 18th annual edition. Every year, the union performers in the Portland SAG-AFTRA local gather at the Lake Theater in Lake Oswego to watch their union’s televised annual awards event. This year, the event is open to all local union members and supporters, and is doubling as a fundraiser for local SAG-AFTRA president Robert Blanche, who’s fighting for his life after a double lung transplant. We accept all genres as long as they are no longer than 20 minutes. Animation films will be eligible for the Will Vinton Best Animation Award. Environmental films will be eligible for the Recology Award. All Official Selections will be eligible for the Grand Jury Prize which includes a $500 cash award as well as a trophy!
