A film noir coming-of-age story, this artsy adaptation of the mythic transformation of the Princess of the Grain into the Queen of the Underworld follows up Fleem’s debut, the award-winning 2008 sci-fi parody “Spidertron”.
Shot on location in Oregon, “A Tale of Persephone” features backdrops in Eugene, Portland, and Lowell. 2011 Shaping up to be Big Year for Oregon Film and Television Jobs
The Governor’s office of Film and Television reports that 2011 will be the biggest year for total dollars spent on film and television projects in Oregon’s history. Two television series filmed in Oregon, “Leverage” and “Portlandia,” have already announced that their networks have renewed their series.

These videos will be played for the Oergon State Legislature at the continuation of the initial house hearing (on HB 2167) this Friday. HB 2167 proposes increasing the annual amount allocated to the Oregon Production Investment Fund (OPIF).
