OregonMade Creative Foundation Nominated For Community Impact Award, Inaugural Global Production Awards

We are excited to confirm that Oregon Film’s non-profit, the OregonMade Creative Foundation has been nominated by Screen International and the Global Production Awards for a Community Impact Award. Screen International unveiled the shortlist for the inaugural Awards which celebrates outstanding and sustainable work in the world of film and TV production, locations, studios, and film offices.

The awards recognize organizations and companies working in the film and TV industry including studios, production companies, film commissions, locations, suppliers and manufacturers, and any services involved in film and TV production. Cinema Unbound Awards Return on June 22

The Portland Art Museum’s cutting-edge media arts organization, PAM CUT // Center for an Untold Tomorrow, is hosting the 4th annual Cinema Unbound Awards on June 22, 2023, highlighting artists, innovators and leaders who are not content to be contained.

The 2023 celebration will include a transformative meal conceived of by Portland’s most celebrated chef, Gregory Gourdet, whose restaurant, Kann, was named the Best Restaurant in America by Esquire and one of the top 50 restaurants in America by The New York Times.

#OregonMade “Sometimes I Think About Dying” In Competition At Sundance

The #OregonMade romantic comedy feature, “Sometimes I Think About Dying”  is set to premiere in competition at Sundance Film Festival (January 19, 04:00 PM – 7:00 PM) in the US dramatic feature section. Stefanie Abel Horowitz wrote the original short and as well as the feature (with co-writers Kevin Armento and Katy Wright Mead) and it was directed by Rachel Lambert, with Daisy Ridley producing and playing the lead, “Fran”. #OregonMade “Pinocchio” Racking Up Award Wins, Including An Oscar!

Guillermo del Toro‘s take on the classic story of “Pinocchio” has been honored with plenty of nominations (over 100 – see the list) and dozens of wins during this awards season, and ultimately won an Oscar for Best Animated Feature! Some of the more well-known wins have been across a few different categories at the Golden Globes, the BAFTAs, the Lumieres, and the Annies, the list goes on.

Hinge Digital Wins a National ADDY Award

#OregonMade Hinge Digital won anADDY Award at the national level for Alpenrose’s “Keep Portland Small” campaign. Hinge won the ADDY at the 2022 American Advertising Awards in the Animation, VFX & Motion Graphics category. That’s after winning multiple Gold ADDYs in Seattle this spring.

Big congrats to all of Hinge’s amazing artists who created this charming CG stop-motion style world.

Hinge Digutal and CMD teamed up to create this charming stop-motion style CG animated campaign, Keep Portland Small, for Alpenrose’s new home delivery service.
The spot tells the story of the Alpenrose Dairy and its milk deliveries, starting with their beginning in 1916, and the growth of the once-little town of Portland, Oregon.
