Oregon Filmmaker and EOFF co-founder Ian Clark named in Filmmakers’s ’25’

Eastern Oregon Film Festival’s co-founder and programming co-director Ian Clark was recently included as one of Filmmaker Magazine’s ’25 New Faces in Independent Film’. Ian’s recent films ‘Country Story’ (EOFF 2011 Primiere) and soon to be released short film “Searching for Yellow” have garnered attention for the works’ subtle narratives and intimate photography.

 “Cinema is another medium just like painting,” says Clark, who is now doing an MFA in digital art at University of Oregon in Eugene.

Eastern Oregon Film Festival Announces New Dates

 

[LA GRANDE, OR] Putting our feet up after a successful 3rd annual event last October felt really nice.  But we’re diving back into it, readying ourselves for another amazing year.

We have decided to move the film festival to a date that can be more accessible to our regional friends and introduce visitors to Eastern Oregon’s awesome winter destination.

 

Drum roll please….

The 4th Annual EOFF will take place
February 28th through March 2nd of 2013.

It’s going to be the best EOFF yet.

Eastern Oregon Film Festival Announces 2011 Winners

La Grande, OR- Eastern Oregon Film Festival awards five filmmakers with this year’s honors. Bellflower and Dragonslayer received Best Film nods in the narrative and documentary categories, respectively. Cirkus Columbia, and short, Summer Snapshot won audience choice awards. And Bad Fever director, Dustin Guy Defa, was recognized for his ‘Innovation in Directing’.

EOFF2011 releases headlining musicians to accompany 3 nights of independent cinema in Eastern Oregon. THE GLASS MENAGERIE: THE FILM –It’s a Wrap!

After 5 Months of Filming, Eastern Oregon University’s First Feature-Length Film Now Enters the Editing Stage.

The cast and crew of EOU’s first feature-length film called it a wrap after five months of intensive and involved filming. The Glass Menagerie, a 92-minute movie based on the famous play by Tennessee Williams and adapted into a film by Professor April Curtis, is now ready for the final concentrated effort of computer technology, voice-over work and musical theme music composed by Biology Professor John Rinehart.
