On-screen representation affects cultural understanding of BIPOC, women, and LGBTQIA+ characters. Barriers need to be broken down until equal representation is achieved on-screen and behind the camera. Better understanding and exposure between neighboring cultures will help create dialog, cooperation, and partnerships that strengthen the interconnectivity of Central Oregon. BendFilm Women-Led Production Grant Deadline Aug 19
BendFilm is now accepting project applications for a women-led production to be filmed in Central Oregon. Female identifying filmmakers in the following counties are eligible to apply: Deschutes, Crook, Jefferson, Wasco, Wheeler, Lake and Klamath.

The gender disparity in our industry is embarrassingly low and we need to be the spark that creates change!
