Fifth Annual Eastern Oregon Film Festival

Eastern Oregon Film Festival is proud to present it’s fifth edition — #EOFF2014. The festival will kick off Thursday, February 20, and run through Saturday, February 22. A decompression gathering with music, skiing, and snowboarding will take place Sunday, February 23 at Anthony Lakes Ski Resort.


The opening night short film is Bernardo Britto’s YEARBOOK, followed by Dave Carroll’s feature documentary, BENDING STEELA live Q&A with the filmmakers will take place after the screening. Additional selections to look for include Josh and Benny Safdie’s LENNY COOKE, Eric Steele’s BOB BIRDNOW, Steven Doughton’s BUOY, and a showcase curated byFilmmaker Magazine — which pairs Ben Sinclair and Katja Blichfeld’s QASIM with Eddie Mullins’ comical, apocalyptic DOOMSDAYS. EOFF invites filmmakers to submit work for consideration in the 5th Eastern Oregon Film Festival, held in La Grande, Oregon February 20-22, 2014.


EOFF has been graced by many artists and industry professionals—whether in-the- flesh or via Skype Q&A—including Terence Nance, Matt Porterfield, Ornana, Elizabeth Mims, Nandan Rao, Kentucker Audley, Dustin Guy Defa, Zach Weintraub, Lucas Leyva, Tristan Patterson, LAIKA, Evan Glodell, and many more!

Where I travel to the end of Oregon to watch little seen Sophia Takal movies, throw hatchets and watch the blackest of art movies with an all white audience.

EOFF provides a quality of life component to our valley that is essential in attracting visitors, professionals, and businesses to the Grande Ronde Valley– in addition to stoking community passion for arts and culture.
