The 21st Annual Bend Film Festival in 2024 comes to Bend October 10 through 13, 2024. Screen over 100 films from the Tower Theatre to Madras and join 125 filmmakers from all over the country.

BendFilm’s Black, Indigenous, Person of Color (BIPOC) Women Filmmaking Grant will support a woman BIPOC artist with $10,000 toward making their short or feature film. The grant supports storytellers who are working to tell creative and complex stories told from a point of view that is unique and authentic.
On-screen representation affects cultural understanding of BIPOC, women, and LGBTQ+ characters. Barriers need to be broken down until equal representation is achieved on-screen and behind the camera.

“Earths to Come” is an enveloping work that seeks to heal the last wounds on our post pandemic hearts by exploring the seductive, delicious and destructive nature of Desire. The Portland Festival of Cinema, Animation, and Technology (PFCAT) announced that its 2024 event will be held at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) from August 21 to August 25 and will include screenings, panel discussions, parties, and special events in the Empirical Theater, Theory, the Kendall Planetarium, and OMSI’s auditorium.
This year’s festival includes screenings of over 120 films by visionary filmmakers, including over a dozen Portland-based filmmakers and animators. BendFilm: Basecamp will take place at Caldera Arts outside Sisters, Oregon, from October 7-10, 2024, and flow directly into the 21st annual Bend Film Festival (which takes place October 10-13, 2024, across venues throughout Bend and beyond).
