🎬 “Windows” by Mischa Webley, A journey of self-discovery behind unfamiliar walls. (Recent winner of Portland’s Amplify Grant.)
🎬 “So Misunderstood” by Seretse Njemanze & Jehnovah Carlisle – Office life meets personal upheaval during the pandemic.
🎬 “Akata” by Iyore Odighizuwa, A tale of cultural identity and unity.

Emerging Voices Take Center Stage at The Portland Film Festival

“Every year is an honor to watch films shared with the Portland Film Festival presented by Comcast,” said Joe Stevens, the 30-year-old self-described Afro-Indigenous Director of Programming. “The talent always blows me away: risk-taking and authentic storytelling. We never have enough theater screens to include all the great films we find.”

The festival takes place Oct 12- 16.
