Women in Film‐PDX is proud to announce, through generous support from The Faerie Godmother Foundation, The WIF-PDX / Faerie Godmother Production Grant. The purpose of the FG Production Grant is to support working-women video and filmmakers in Oregon and Southwest Washington (Clark County). The goal of this grant is to provide a financial statement of support aiding in the next step of crafting of an idea, honing a vision, or assisting in the completion of a consequential piece of work. Moon Tribe Studios Completes Principal Photography for "Population 2"

The production just finished principal photography at three of Oregon’s most historic locations; The Gordon House (designed and built by Frank Lloyd Wright), The Shanghai Tunnels and the soon to be torn down Fairview Hospital in Salem.

Trout on the Wind

Local filmmaker Sam Drevo will present his newly released film Trout on the Wind on the amazing story of restoration and renewal of Trout Creek through removal of Hemlock Dam. Sam Drevo and Ralph Bloemers, both avid whitewater paddlers and river advocates, collaborated on this production telling the story through the words of the individuals directly involved in it, and those influenced by it.

University of Oregon to Host Cinema Pacific Film Festival
