Although we aren’t lucky enough this year to have any projects that were shot here in Oregon being nominated for an Emmy award, we do have several people who live here in Oregon that have been part of the nominations. In fact, that is one of the stronger selling points of Oregon, our talent. Sometimes that talent isn’t able to work in our state but we like to celebrate them anyway.
[If you know if other nominees this year that we have not yet recognized, please let us know!]
Projects with Oregon connections include “Rebel Ridge,” “The Resident,” “Life Below Zero” and “The Diplomat”.

Prolific Portland based producers Neil Kopp and Anish Savjani were nominated for producing “Rebel Ridge” and Best TV Movie.
Nominated for his VFX work on “The Residence,” Gabriel Vargas lives in Oregon and has a long track record of VFX work including credits on “Westworld” and the #OregonMade “Here and Now.”

As a producer on the NatGeo series “Life Below Zero” Portland resident Crofton Diack has been nominated several times for LBZ while also working on other #OregonMade projects like “Metal Lords.”
