The Portland Events and Film Office Post-Production Grant

THE 2024 POST-PRODUCTION GRANT APPLICATION OPENS MARCH 20, 2024.

The Portland Events and Film Office, in partnership with Travel Portland, is proud to offer a grant opportunity for Portland-based independent film productions to support and offset the cost of the post-production process.

The funding is designed to encourage the completion of a local feature-length film and position local producers to build toward larger, more resourced productions. Past recipients of the Post-Production Grant have included “Nora” by Anna Campbell and Dawn Redstone Jones’ “Mother of Color,” the latter picked up by Amazon Prime Studios for world wide streaming distribution.

Four grants of $7,500 each will be awarded.

Housed at and supported by Prosper Portland, the Portland Events and Film Office is committed to the economic vitality of a Portland-centered production ecosystem and seeks to build the local supply chain and expand industry capacity.

This grant program strongly encourages productions to apply that further career advancement and/or storytelling for historically underserved communities in the Portland area, which may include people who identify as Black, Indigenous, and/or people of color, people who speak English as a second language, people living with disabilities, youth, women, LGBTQIA2S+ , people on the gender spectrum, people experiencing houselessness or low income, and people impacted by the legal system, immigration, and/or incarceration.

This grant is open for anyone to apply. Find out more here.
