Today is an exciting day for fans of Chuck Palahniuk films—Yes, films. Up until now, Fight Club and Choke were the only two adaptations you could find of Chuck’s work. But Portland-based, writer/director Andy Mingo went and changed all that with his 26-minute, short film adaption of ‘Romance.’
Read on last year’s book tour, ‘Romance’ is easily one of Chuck’s strongest and funniest short stories. It’s both heartbreaking and hysterical at the same time, and starting on March 19, you can find it on Video On Demand at:

The film is already getting rave reviews, and recently did its California premiere at the Cinequest Film Festival after it debuted at the Raindance Film Festival in London in October. On March 26, ‘Romance will screen in Istanbul as a part of Fil’m Hafizasi’s Fil’[email protected] screening series ( https://www.facebook.com/events/117805931736334/ ). The film will also screen at the 2013 Seattle True Independent Film Festival in April.
In the coming days ‘Romance’ will also be available at Google Play and Youtube Rentals.
